Instructions for solid flooring

Installation on a CEMENT FOUNDATION - If the thickness of the finishing layer of glaze of the cement is up to 4 cm maximum, the moisture in the foundation should not be more than 2% - it is necessary to determine the moisture of the surface of the cement with the proper instrument, while it is recommended to use a dual component adhesive which is not water based or - even better a  poliuretan elastic adhesive.  It would be advisable to inject the foundation with poliuretan coat so that the foundation can strengthen and have more protection against moisture.  Because of the size, it is necessary to use holders that can restrict the panels as they are touching one another until the glue can hold the panels together, as it is not possible to use nails on a cement foundation.

DRY INSTALLATION - Installation on a dry surface over which panels (steam resistant floor veneer with a grooves and pins - or the same OSB panel with a minimal thickness of 18 mm) are installed in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer.  This method ensures installation in a shorter time period.  Floors are secured by nailing pins at corners of 45°.  A good option would be to combine this with the gluing of a dual component adhesive (the pins secure and hold the panels while the adhesive dries).
